Description

As one of the original developers of the OpenRightsGroup's blocked.org.uk platform I'd like to take a moment to explain how UK Internet filtering is detected and reported by civil liberties groups.

Summary

Since 2004 the UK Internet has been increasingly filtered using "man in the middle" technology, following the big push for "parental filters" the civil liberties collective the OpenRightsGroup built a platform to detect what ISPs were blocking what websites.

This presentation will walk you through how we detect blocking and appeal to you to implement the HTTP/451 error code.
